Alert Enterprise Achieves SailPoint Certified Integration, Extending Identity Governance to Physical Access

Physical Identity and Access Management (PIAM) is the discipline of managing physical identities, credentials, and facility access through identity-centric governance processes, the same lifecycle, policy, and certification controls long applied to digital access. Where a physical access control system (PACS) decides whether a badge opens a door, PIAM governs whether that person should hold the badge at all. SailPoint workflows already govern the digital side of every identity event: hires, transfers, terminations, access requests, certifications. The certified integration carries those same workflows through to physical access.
A termination processed in SailPoint deactivates the badge. A transfer adjusts facility access. A certification campaign includes the data center door alongside the ERP entitlement. There is no parallel process to maintain and no second system of record to reconcile.
