Did you know? 45% of companies collaborate as “separate with partnerships,” meaning corporate and cybersecurity are separate organizational units but formally collaborate and partner on all or most routine operational issues.

This eye-opening stat (and many others) came from a recent report from the Security Executive Council’s Security Leadership Research Institute in partnership with Kennesaw State University’s Coles College of Business. Through a series of questionnaires and extensive interviews, they uncovered some fascinating findings about the prevalence of security convergence, whether alternative structures are bringing results for security leaders, and the factors that enable collaboration in any framework.

Initially released only to study participants, the research report is now freely available to the security community. Get your hands on it here.
