As AI technology continues to grow, organizations across all verticals are asking themselves: “How can I use AI … and what are the risks if I do?” A recent joint report from Human Risks and Decis Intelligence explored AI’s emerging role in Enterprise Security Risk Management (ESRM), citing the following four core benefits for most workplaces:

  • Streamlining routine tasks
  • Improving the productivity of lower-skilled workers
  • Enhancing creative problem-solving
  • Making routine tasks more tolerable

When implementing AI into the workplace, the report recommends security leaders do so with speed, caution and empathy for those who work with it: AI still struggles with deeply creative tasks and remains dependent on human oversight. For optimal results, security leaders must focus on how they can strategically incorporate AI into workflows without undermining human roles.

The report also warns leaders to proceed cautiously with AI to mitigate risks of malicious use. Thankfully with our new data privacy patent, this one’s easy: Our technology keeps critical data private and ensures sensitive information is never exposed to LLMs during AI interactions. With us, organizations can enjoy all the benefits of AI — without compromising data privacy.
