FREMONT, California (November 3, 2022) –Alert Enterprise, Inc., the leading cyber-physical Security Convergence software company, announced that longtime security professional Shane Butler will join the Europe team as Vice President of Sales.
In his new role, Butler will be responsible for setting and executing the company’s sales strategy across Europe, providing leadership to deliver growth with customers across industries and working closely with strategic partners like SAP and ServiceNow. But Butler isn’t new to the security industry: he grew up in it.
“I started my career in the security industry in 2006 as an eager 16-year-old security technician apprentice,” Butler said. “My dad, who is an industry veteran of 20+ years, trained me. At the time, my three older brothers were also security technicians – so we lived in the industry, day and night.”
Throughout his career, Butler has mastered all the core disciplines across cyber and physical security. Over the past six years, he has successfully sold identity-focused Security SaaS applications in the Fortune 500 space with deployments of 100-500K identities, 100-500+ sites and multiple integrations.
