Position Overview:

Guardian on ServiceNow Partnership Business Development Manager

 Alert Enterprise Solution Sales is on an exciting journey with ServiceNow. We have just developed a new version of our Guardian application native on the ServiceNow platform, and we need an experienced hunter / business development manager to deploy & manage the go-to-market (GTM) strategy with ServiceNow & the partner Ecosystem. 

We are growing fast, and with this rapid opportunity for scale and dynamic growth we are hiring a Business Development Manager aligned to our Security Operations product suite.

As a Business Development Manager for our ServiceNow line of business, you will play a pivotal role in helping sales leadership define, shape, and execute the ServiceNow GTM strategy which will be solely focused on developing a channel of ServiceNow system integrators to sell & deliver the Guardian on ServiceNow solution.

You will help role out initiatives that contribute to market success of Alert Enterprise’ s Built On ServiceNow products and will work closely with sales leadership to define and execute GTM priorities including growth, upsell/cross sell motions, and health/adoption focus.

In this role, you will specifically help drive net-new ACV and customer expansion for our Guardian Built On ServiceNow ecosystem technology partnerships, creating new revenue streams for Alert Enterprise in partnership with ServiceNow.

You will bring together and drive cross-functional collaboration to execute strategic initiatives and contribute to our continued growth.  You’ll be the primary interface to connect sales cycles between ServiceNow and the strategic resell for our technology partners.

You’ll design and execute sales campaigns that will capitalize on our joint selling market opportunity and increase customer satisfaction.  This role requires a seasoned professional with sales leadership, business development, strategy and operations expertise.

The ideal candidate is a proven seller, expert at partnering with field teams, a superb relationship builder, and an intellectually curious individual who can develop trust with senior leaders and stakeholders across the organization. The candidate must be able to combine GTM expertise, product/market knowledge and sales GTM excellence to drive action and deliver results.

Basic Qualifications: 

  • 5+ years of sales, business development, Partner development, Partner sales, or Alliances management experience in the software / technology space.
  • 5+ years of experience with Technology Partners, ISV’s, SIs and/or large enterprise sales and complex agreements.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience working and communicating with multiple stakeholders and driving strategic plans across various teams including solution architecture, product management, partner management, and account management teams.
  • 5+ years of experience within the Digital Experience industry.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated ability to exceed sales, business development, or alliance management goals against annual growth targets for technical products.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Previous experience working with ServiceNow and or ServiceNow partners & Ecosystem.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience defining business goals and developing and executing go-to-market plans that exceed goals.
  • Proven track record of senior executive engagement and ability to partner with executive leaders on closing and executing large, highly technical strategic co-development and partnership engagements.
  • Proven track record of driving co-sell with partners and delivering on co-sell specific goals from $10s of millions to $100+ million in pipeline/revenue goals.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.
  • A co-selling evangelist with partners with a deep experience in an industry or technology domain.
  • An influencer who has strong presentation skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross functional audiences.
  • Experience and relationships with internal ServiceNow teams: Field Sales, Marketing, etc. that can be brought into co-sell cycles with Technology partners.
  • Experience managing technical teams, as creating joint sales strategies within co-sell cycles require.
  • Familiarity with selling/managing large multi-million-dollar partner programs.
  • Familiarity negotiating large deals.
  • Understanding of digital transformation drivers and the technology ecosystem.
  • Masters’ Degree in technical or relevant business field.
